What information we collect & process
We ask for your name and contact details which are known as ‘personal data’. This personal data is only collected when you complete a contact form or when you send an email through the links provided on this website. This information is only processed to allow us to respond to your enquiry or deliver our service. We have determined that ‘legitimate interests’ is the most appropriate lawful basis for how we collect and use date you share. We do not use this information for marketing purposes.

Purpose of cookies for our website
Session cookies – Often used for 'Shopping Cart' and to remember which pages you visited, or for when you use the 'Back' button. Once you close your browser or log out, the cookie will expire and be deleted.
Persistent cookies – Can be used to store information or settings about you to improve your experience on a website. For example, “Remember me” cookies which store your username and password when you visit a site. This is not used to identify you: only to make logging into a website faster and more convenient.
Third Party cookies – These are cookies placed by another website or service i.e. it has a different address to the one you see in your browser’s address bar: in other words a third-party. Any personal data provided by you will be held and processed according to the data protection guidelines of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), May 2018. I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office as a data controller.
Under the GDPR May 2018 regulations, the legal bases for me keeping this information are ‘contract’ (information is necessary in order for me to provide a service to you) and ‘consent’ (where you consent to me holding your information for the purpose outlined). As a data controller, I am committed to protecting your privacy. I only collect what information I need in order to provide a safe, ethical and effective service to you.
What information do I keep?
I also keep brief notes of our work, in line with the requirements of my insurers. These are kept separately from your personal information (name ad contact details).
Where do I keep information?
I keep your personal details (name and address) in a locked filing box.
I keep brief notes (these will not disclose your name or any other identifying information) on our work together. You have the right to see these at any time.
My phone is finger-print and passcode protected, and my laptop is password-protected; they cannot be accessed by anyone other than myself.
How long do I keep information for?
All information is destroyed by shredding after 5 years (the period of time specified by my insurance company) from the end of our work together.
Data held electronically (contact details on my phone and any emails between us) is completely deleted when we end our work.
I will not share any information about you with other organisations or people, except:
if I believe that you or another person are at risk of serious harm
if I am required by law to share information
You have the right to refuse consent for my holding your information
You have the right to see the information I hold
You have the right to ask for it to be amended or destroyed
